Mongol 2007
Watched Mongol(2007) last night. Extraordinary film as expected from Sergei Bodrov. Taking of the story is brilliant. The introduction scene and merkits attacking temujin and borte are treatise to the viewer. Background score is outstanding. Only lowlight from my viewpoint is the movie is a bit short, i am expecting a much bigger movie.

well, i think overall the movie was what it should be....i thought it was a bit draggy at times.....but it is a very nice depiction of Gengis Khan's relationship with his wife....it is not about Gengis Khan and his great wars.....but it is about the relationship between Gengis Khan and his wife Borte....how they stood by each other even in times of terrible situations.
