The holy remarkable book Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy says:
Balu's performance was so great that had the prostetnic vogon jeltz seen it, he would have died due to internal hemorrhage of brain cells!! That was the second best dance performance in the history of the universe, second only to the great dancing ceremony of Ravenous Bugbladder Beast of Traal which resulted in the immediate salvation of all the residents of whole planet of Traal. The ape dissendent life forms could live through this marvelous performance by the great dancer only because of the great philosophy that "life is unfair"!!!

Zaphod seconds u. It is for balu,or the entire carbon based forms of life would have been extinct because of hrung disaster. The story goes like this the hrung was initially planning to end the ape descendant life forms.The very idea of this performance being shown on a giant screen made the hrung think twice.
very true....the very idea of hrung thinking twice is as obscure as Balu's performance!!! I wonder if Balu knows where his tovel is though!!!
